Susan Czernich
Counsellor, Play Therapist & Behaviour Support Practitioner
Susan is a compassionate and highly experienced practitioner dedicated to supporting children and families.
Her background spans school-based counselling, family relationship therapy, trauma-informed practice, and crisis response, including work with childhood trauma, domestic and family violence, and sexual abuse.
In her role as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Susan brings a thoughtful, holistic, and person-centred approach to helping individuals and families achieve meaningful, positive change.

Susan is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and a pending member of PACFA.

Play Therapy Training Australia - Clinical Program
Cert IV in Alcohol & Other Drugs combined with Cert IV in Mental Health

Susan draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including person-centred, narrative, and solution-focused therapies, with a strong focus on empowering clients to recognise and build on their strengths.
As a trained Play Therapist, Susan creates a safe, nurturing, and child-led environment where children can express what words often cannot. She is also trained in the Learn to Play approach and facilitates Preschool Boost groups, supporting early development through play-based connection.
