Principal Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Consultant

Alisha Banks is the Principal Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Consultant at AkindaCo and an NDIS Registered Advanced PBS Practitioner with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and teams across South Australia.

Alisha holds a senior strategic role within AkindaCo's Clinical Leadership Group, focused on strengthening PBS practice across the organisation. Her work centres on translating PBS and MEBS-informed principles into practical, sustainable systems; contributing to practice frameworks, workforce capability, and service design in ways that are grounded, consistent, and values-aligned.

Alisha's career spans a range of progressively senior clinical and advisory roles, including positions at the Lizard Centre, The Benevolent Society, Beanstalk Child Psychology, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. She continues to work as a Clinical Training Specialist at the Centre for Positive Behaviour Support (CPBS), supporting practitioner development across the sector.

At AkindaCo, Alisha brings depth, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to practice that centres the whole person building a PBS service that is ethical, thoughtful, and focused on what matters most to the people it supports.
